Today I have equalled the heaviest weight I have even been.
87 kilograms.
The first time I hit this weight was around 10 years ago while I was working as a taxi driver.
I was eating fried fish & chips with a Ginger Beer every day.
And the 3 days I drove a taxi, I was eating McDonald’s apple pies, regular apple pies and hot chocolate Sundae’s – every shift.
All the weight went to my gut.
One day while driving – thankfully without a passenger at the time – my trousers just burst open from the button.
It was like a cartoon, I had to laugh.
Now, although most of the weight has gone to my gut again, a lot of it has spread to my shoulders and chest.
I’m not unhappy about this, even though it’s a sign of old age (along with the grey hair).
However, I’m curious to lose weight and see if any of it stays in my shoulders & chest.
I know how to lose weight. The best way.
Interval sprints. More specifically, interval hill sprints.
I’m going to do 3 sessions a week and see what happens.
