Today was the first day of my 2-week mid-year holiday.
A much needed one.
I spent the majority of the day on final editing for a book I began writing 3 or 4 months ago.
Watching the book grow and evolve has been fun.
For a while, I was set on it being a certain way. When I let that go, the book began to take shape.
It’s not a long book so I will finish editing tomorrow, print it out and give to 3 people for feedback.
I plan to have it ready for publishing by my birthday in June, when we go to Australia. There I will collect a few things from home to add, make adjustments and initiate the book design and publishing process.
Releasing work I am proud of is exciting.
On another note, it has been somewhat frustrating using a Turkish keyboard.
When we return from Australia, I will bring back a laptop with an English keyboard. I already have some touch typing software which I plan to use to increase my speed and consistency.
It’s fun experiencing the cross-over between typing and plonking my fingers on a piano.
